Powering Your Gold Mate From Batteries

The Gold Mate Range require around 16V DC to operate correctly. This can normally be achieved by using a NON regulated 12V wall plug adapter. These give out around 17V DC at the very low current the Gold Mate programmers use.

However a lot of people use their programmer on the move and have expressed a lot of interest in using it with batteries. So here is a picture showing you how to connect 2 PP3 batteries in Series to give you 18V DC.

Please remember that you must use good batteries and programmer performance could suffer when the batteries become low. Never leave the batteries connected when the programmer is not in use.

You can use 2 PP3 flying leads by connecting a black and red from each lead to each other then taking the other red and black to the 2.5mm Jack Plug.

These leads are also available for sale. Check the pricing page for pricing.
