This section will describe how to physically set up your GMPC or
GMPC+ for use with a PC.
First you need to connect a 9 pin straight through
(not null modem) serial lead to your GMPC or GMPC+.
The next step is to connect the power to your GMPC
or GMPC+. For exact power spec refer to the FAQ.
Now you need to locate the Serial port at the back
off your PC and connect a 9 Pin straight through (not null modem) serial lead to it. Most PCs will
have 2 serial ports but some models will only have one. Below you
can see a lead being connected to a serial port of a PC.
Now you are ready to get started with the software
on the PC.
